On tap, Pro Pig. Smells amazing, lemon and grapefruit. Starts light, smooth malt, ends grapefruit hop. Like a more refined version of Maine Beer Peeper. Excellent! want1DIPA (227) - - OCT 6, 2013
Bottle pour. I’m really liking this one. Strong orange flavors with great hop balance! A really strong floral aroma as well. This is an exceptional DIPA. Cbuk1013 (247) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - JAN 26, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 18, 2014 Wow! One of the best smelling beers ever! A tropical hop paradise. Great taste and a wonderful finish. Hmmmmmm, beer. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - MAR 22, 2011
Bottle, Draft, Bottle, and Bottle. How f lucky i’ve been this year. This IPA kicks serious ass. Pours a golden orange body with a white head and great head retention. Really tropical fruit tones, but still with a modest drying finish. Very fresh cherry, citrus, and punch notes. Light weed y body with grass and a just dead drying with no residual sweetness that lightens the body. Great shit. BOLTZ7555 (3027) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JAN 24, 2012
Was absolutely blown away by this...and it wasn’t the best bottle of the night! 24 karat pour with a fluffy ivory head that left a bit of lacing. Aroma is pungent and mind numbing with incredibly bright grapefruit, orange peel, mango, papaya, pineapple, lemon zest, and guava. The tropical fruit and citrus presence is unbelievable along with hints of ganja. A bottled version of Lou-P-Lin that holds up incredibly to age. Can’t even imagine this on tap. Love the this is only 8%...could drink this all day, every day! World-class!

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2014 Bottle on many occasion. Poured a hazed out yellow gold color. Small white head that was very thick. Aroma is an explosion of hops, including notes of grapefruit, citra, lemongrass, pine, earthy malts and hops throughout. Taste is a salivating hop bomb of citrus fuels including lime, grapefruit, mango, lemon zest. Flavor was indeed a lingerer. I wanted more of this badly but we only had a bottle to share for the table. Huge thanks to whoever cracked this. Def in my top three of this year next to bitter valentine and heady topper. I have now had this beer enough to know it is indeed one of if not the best imperial ipas in the world. Perfect in all aspects. Lowered it one notch since the last 4 batches(’12-13) I have had aren’t the same as what it used to taste like, seth_lfod (325) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - APR 26, 2013
Bottles obtained by my homie Nick at the 5th anniversary event... Thanks man! Pours a semi opaque yellow amber color with a nice white head that dissipates to a film. Good lacing too. Smell is heavy tropical fruits... Mango, pineapple, grapefruit, and floral hops. Taste is again with the tropical fruits... Mango and grapefruit standout. Crisp clean slightly bitter finish. Top tier DIPA. Zeeben (36) - Goffstown, New Hampshire, USA - APR 28, 2013
Pours a deep shade of orange. Half a finger of fine white foam that quickly dies down. The nose, this is what heaven smells like, huge citrus bomb with heavy passion fruit florals. Fabtastic beer, loves the hop butter balance. jra1983 (32) - york haven, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Bottle thanks to greenmtnmike thank you! Pours a hazy orange hue with a thin white head. Nose is of fruits, and is very floral. It’s one of the best smelling double ipas. Taste is very good, the taste is much as the smell. Very bright fruity and floral flavors. I like this better than heady and pliney honestly. It is so balanced and isn’t the most bitter but all the components play so well together that it’s so complete.
