Pours a deep shade of orange. Half a finger of fine white foam that quickly dies down. The nose, this is what heaven smells like, huge citrus bomb with heavy passion fruit florals. Fabtastic beer, loves the hop butter balance. jra1983 (32) - york haven, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 4, 2013
Bottle thanks to greenmtnmike thank you! Pours a hazy orange hue with a thin white head. Nose is of fruits, and is very floral. It’s one of the best smelling double ipas. Taste is very good, the taste is much as the smell. Very bright fruity and floral flavors. I like this better than heady and pliney honestly. It is so balanced and isn’t the most bitter but all the components play so well together that it’s so complete. PattyBat (84) - - AUG 31, 2013
On tap in snifter. Poured a clear yellow with nice, average head. Aroma is incredible. Very floral and citrusy in the nose. Light and cities on the tongue with great hop balance. Truly an amazing beer. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - NOV 2, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 18, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Alex! Bright, radiant gold with a big, slow settling foamy white head that leaves nice lacing behind. Aroma is huge citrus & tropical hops; pungent pineapple, mango, tangerines, papaya, grapefruit. Huge pungency & awesome hop oils... Dripping wet, gushing fruits. Taste is... Amazing. Pungent, juicy hops. Citrus, mango, pineapple, orange, papaya, sticky hop leaves, dank resins... Just a touch of cracker malt, not sweet at all. Perfect bitterness... Nice pine & fruit finish, dry and long lasting. Fantastic, world class. Double Sunshine is the best DIPA I’ve ever had. Leveejr (109) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 6, 2014
Pretty amazing DIPA. Earthy, herbal and slightly fruity aroma. Very crisp taste. Good carbonation and beautiful juicy hop flavors. Delicious beer

Consumed near the source within 6 hours of hitting the shelves. Pours a beautiful pale orange, with a medium white fluffy head. Nose is full of passionfruit, guava, citrus fruit, dank resiny hops. Flavor is packed with tropical fruits (melon, passionfruit, guava), citrus, piney hops in the backseat. Leaves you with a lightly bitter hop finish, just enough. Mouthfeel is very nice, very sticky / gooey, somewhat juicy. This stuff is the real deal, it’s a beauty... drink it fresh. blipp (9599) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAR 2, 2011
Bottle shared at Paul and Ryan’s 5,000th rate tasting. Pours gold with a thin white head. Big big fresh as hell hoppy aroma, citrus fruits, floral notes, and resinous pine. The flavor has a great balance of bitter an sweet notes, with fruity citric notes, and resinous pine. Outrageously fresh and outrageously delicious. crosamich (433) - Twin Falls, Idaho, USA - JAN 28, 2012
Mmmmm...like licking a pine needles soaked in citrus and mangos. The aroma is very much tropical and citrus and the flavor is some piney goodness. This is my kind of IPA. Not for the weak, My non beer geek friends/family wouldn’t touch this so more for me and the wife. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - APR 20, 2012

Bottle: The aroma consists of lots of tropical fruits, pineapple, citrus, and grapefruit. It pours a hazy amber with lots of fine sediment with a one finger head with some spotty webbing for lacing. The flavor starts with a quick dose of tropical fruits, lemon, and faint pineapple. The flavor has big grapefruit and oranges. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, outstanding IIPA that has sessionable drinkability.
