Pours a dark amber with a minimal beige head. Rich aromas of caramelized maple, spicy woodiness and a touch of balsamic vinegar. Smooth carbonation, intense suave creamy palate, bold maple flavors ending with a touch of wood. This is textbook dessert beer. Not my usual type of beer but I truly enjoyed it. dnstone (3494) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - OCT 10, 2016
Sweet maple aroma with some light Belgian yeast spiced notes. Poured a copper color with an off-white head. Syrupy, light maple, sweet flavor.

Light hazy dark amber with a tiny tan head. Aroma is sweet sticky caramel, maple syrup, some dates, light prunes, figs.
Taste is sweet sticky caramel, maple syrup, hints of vanilla. Smooth sweet finish with light warming notes and a good amount of maple syrup. Medium bodied, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.
Nice sweet maple forward beer.
Bottle courtesy of HenrikO. Pours hazy golden brown with a small offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissiapting. Smell is malty with sweet dark bread, caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, maple syrup, red pears, hay, minerals, lemon zest and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, malty and slightly fruity. Mouthfeel is viscous, round, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet with sweet bread and maple syrup. Bit one note with tons of maple syrup but quite enjoyable in small sips. rlgk (18852) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 28, 2016

Bottle thanks to Randy. Pours a cloudy brown with tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong maple, wood, bourbon. Medium mouth, strong bourbon, maple, roast, very nice. bhensonb (15621) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 27, 2015
Bottle c&c from jredmond. Pours sort of darkish ruddy maple. No real head. Aroma is heat and maple and treacle, and arguably it’s a bit plummy. Hints of Belgian yeast/spice. Quite an aroma! Fullest body. It’s what SA Triple Bock should have been. Somehow heat isn’t an issue here. Very warming. marcus (10575) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 27, 2015
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours reddish brown with a tiny beige head and a maple and alcohol aroma. There is a delicious sweet dark malt flavor with a ton of maple and a hint of Belgian yeast. Nice oak finish with a warm alcohol trail. madmitch76 (25367) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2015

Bottle share gathering at Bruce’s. Thanks to Leighton for supplying this long held want. Hazy amber beer, short lived off white head. Smooth palate, semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Nice caramel and toffee - maple. Mild ripe fruits. Mellow bitterness and spice. Light dry finish. Nice job, well joined up and a little off the beaten track.
Bottle shared at Bruce’s place. Thanks to Leighton. No water added ? Clear light amber dark orange coloured pour with a fleeting fine head. Aroma is sweet, woody maple, raisin, wood. Flavour is composed, sweet, maple, light light wood, little sprutz. Light honey, some jammy fruit. Palate is full sweet, sticky, velvety, lowish tingling carbonation. Some wood tanin. Very sweet but I like it. Fetch me some pancakes.
