Golden brown with a nice beige head. Aroma is brown sugar, sherry, maple, dates. Full bodied, syrupy mouthfeel, sweet on the palate with a complex finish. Taste is brown sugar, maple, dark fruits, heather honey.

On tap at the Mule Bar. They poured this into a slim chalice. The appearance was a dark copper almost brown color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated immediately. Messy lace. The aroma had a big sweet maple up front. Nice ample nuttiness. Smooth caramel malts. The flavor leads maple to nutty sweet with a semi-sticky malty to maple syrupy aftertaste running into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with an exceptionally smooth semi-sticky feel. Low carbonation. Overall, practically one of the smoothest American Strong ales that I ever had. Yes, I know that’s due to the maple, but hey, gotta give great credit to this one.

Thanks to warriorsoul for sharing. Pours a deep amber with a smaller bubbly lightly off white head. Aroma of maple, brown sugar, bready malt and biscuity. Flavor had a nice malt quality to it, touch of the maple, some fruity notes, brown sugar and nuts.

Thanks to Ogglethorpe for sharing! Hazy amber pour with a thin off white colored head. Not much lace to speak of. Aroma is maple, cereal, and biscuit.. Unfortunately most the maple I picked up was on the aroma. Flavor is bread like, yeasty, sweet malts, and toffee.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a creme colored head that lingers around the edges. Rich maple aroma over medium carbonation. It's a tasty brown but it could be a bit sweeter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Mule Bar, Winooski, VT. Deep amber colour. Light haze. Firm ring of beige head. Nose has barley sugar sweets. Some maple syrup. Light candied fruit. Some dried fruit. Taste is sugary sweet. Some vine fruit dryness. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body. Finish loses the sweetness and gets fruity and vinous. Decent.
