3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle. Pours a mostly clear gold with a frothy white head, nice lacing. Nose held citrus, faint spice and some biscuity malts. Crisp on the palate.
Bottle shared by InspectorBob at the ’11 BA South Jersey gathering, yeah I’m on there too. Poured a super clear gold body with an average sized foamy bright white head. Aroma is NASTY, cat piss, manure and bad fish. Flavor is much better with notes of dry toast and grains, straw and hay. Drier bodied with average carbonation and a lingering finish. This just smells bad but actually tastes good. pineypower (3347) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - OCT 22, 2011
Thanks to Bob for bringing this to BASJG. Pours out a slightly cloudy yellowish/golden color with a small white head. Aroma is of dishrag, lemon detergent and light sweetness. Taste is of grass, some citrusy hop notes, lemon peel and some spice. Flavor was a lot better than aroma. j12601 (13033) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - SEP 30, 2010
Had this during the Backwoods Brewdown up at Hill Farmstead. Pours a hazed gold with a medium white head. Malt, wheat, fuzzy musk. Smooth with light grain and hops. Crisp and clean. Nice and crisp. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - SEP 27, 2010

@Zero Gravity Flatbread–on tap-pours a foamy white head and yellow color. Aroma is pine/resin, then lemon, some light malt. Taste is pine/herbal/resin, then lemon, some light malt. West Coast with herbal. beerbuzzmontreal (3487) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 24, 2009
Solid aroma of citrusy, slightly soapy hops. Cloudy golden pour with a medium white head. Good flavor of citrusy, soapy hops with some pale malt and strong bitterness in the end. The body is light with a creamy texture and lively carbonation. This is a very pleasant and enjoyable blonde ale. jtk57 (2) - Jarrettsville, Maryland, USA - OCT 3, 2008 does not count

Bought this 20 oz bottle from the Warren Store in rural VT, July 2008. Carefully brought it home and held it in the beer fridge until this evening. Poured into a Unibroue tulip. Appearance- thin white head that shrinks down and stays rung around the glass for the duration. Color is a golden straw, attractive. Aroma of bright grass, strong hops. Flavor is mostly hops, crisp and resinous with a slightly oily mouthfeel in the first few sips. Bitter hops aftertaste that lingers. Overall, a refreshing ale with a clean taste. Not much complexity, but very nice. Spoke with the Brewmaster himself at a farmer’s market on our trip; he has no plans to ship outside of VT so I probably won’t have a chance to try this again until next year at the earliest. (Rating #1936) Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 7, 2008
A golden ale with more hop punch than many IPAs.
Relatively complex hop profile (loaded with citrus and flowers) takes on the aroma and makes us forget most of the dull malt graininess going on. Clean all the way through. Lean and drinkable.
Veiled malt presence.
