AnokaBrewer (201) - Anoka, Minnesota, USA - MAY 13, 2017
On tap at Sam Adams Brewhouse. Light yellow and slight cloudy pour. Very little hint of clove in the aroma and flavor. Not getting the banana. Not an American Wheat, but is has a way to go to live up to a true German Wheat.

Lazy Boy, Everett. (Rate #5000, as it turns out). Bright cloudy, fruity yellow. North American attempt at a Hefe again. Nothing offensive but very boring. Bitter banana. Meh.

Draft pour at collective, cloudy golden pour, banana aroma flavor is balanced with banana and but a little malty. Nice Hef.

Aroma: mostly orange, some banana, toffee? Quite sweet, very sticky. OK, but does not have the crisp wheat.

Blom (837) - Odense, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2014
On tap. An american hefe that lacks a bit of the German freshness, but nevertheless is an acceptable copy. Citric notes of oranges combined with sweet banana.

maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAY 16, 2014
Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a hazy dark golden color. Nose is pretty heavily laden with wheat, with some slight citrus elements coming through. Feels pretty light on the palate, which was nice. Tastes slightly sweet and very wheaty, with some slight citrus elements in there. Seems like a good summer beer.

Draft pour. Not my style of beer but I really enjoy this. Light with a lot of banana. Orange and wheat finish with more banana. Refreshing beer.
