Overall a decent above-average IPA. Pours a medium amber, good head and it’s tight too. Aroma is straight-forward NW aroma, orange, grapefruit and some pine. Has a medium amber-ale malt profile, some moderate caramel sweetness and a little toastiness, probably from the Munich malt. Bitterness is present and does not overwhelm. Good balance however somewhat boring. This is a very good basic northwestern IPA. I must be a bit biased from all of my IIPA and extreme IPA tasting because this seems pretty normal to me. Still though, an excellent showing. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Solid IPA. Nice deep copper pour. Good malt backbone, pine oriented hoppiness, and sufficiently bitter. Wouldn't mind a bit thicker mouthfeel, but overall good. Solid B.

Citrus and spicy hops blend well with malt sweetness in the nose. Hazy copper coloured body is topped by a shy white large bubbled head that recedes rapidly to ring with scant lace. Flavour is as the aroma suggests with moderate to strong bitterness, citrus and spicy hop character and some caramel sweetness. Bitterness lingers. Medium light body with moderate carbonation is quite dry and somewhat thin for my taste. Seems like it could use a bit more malt character to support the hop bill. Snifter. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in February 2013. Gerbeer (3749) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 26, 2013
650 ml bottle. Pours amber with medium head that settles quickly. Aromas of malts, toffee, and and little melon and citrus. Malty flavor, with a bit of lemon and final bitter finish. Good,, but pretty common stuff now. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - DEC 7, 2012
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear, copper colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is earthy and citrusy pines with a light caramel and a slight metallic note. Flavor is similar. Heavier earth and citrusy pines with a slight metallic note and a lightly sweetened caramel malt backing. Finishes dry and moderately bitter before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent IPA. Well hopped, but a bit metallic and not overly complex. Not bad though. Crit (3996) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 22, 2012

22oz bottle. Pours a reddish copper with light white head. Aroma of caramel malts with citrusy hops. Flavor is dominated by the hops, with a grapefruity flavor. Moderate bitterness. Pretty good, but perhaps just a tad too tart.
