On draft from brewery. A nice built ipa. Classic citrus notes. Drinkable and refreshing.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2010 740 ml bottle. From Vancouver, WA, USA. (HHOK7).
Slightly hazy amber colour with small off-white head. Dark fruity bitter hops and toasted malt in aroma. Flavour is dark fruity bitter hops and dried fruits. Balanced. Short bitterish aftertaste. Very drinkable IPA.

Pour was a little surprising and on the brown side. Unfortunately I think this one was infected. Getting a lot of buttery aromas and flavors and it is totally overpowering the hop. Only letting a little malt body come through with a bit of caramel sweetness. Hops are totally gone here. Either old or infected so someone please send me another bottle.

Solid IPA. Pretty big pine and citrus going on. Pretty good balance tending more towards the hops. Drinkable and easy to get ’round these parts.

Pours dark amber with a frothy head. The aroma is sweet. The flavor is also sweet with a mild hop bite at the end.

Bottle purchased from Liquid Solutions. Appearance: Pours a bit brown for an IPA....muddy copper look to it. 1 finger foam head that doesn’t retain much or offer too much lacing. Smell: Lots of bitter floral hops running rampant throughout a field of caramel malt. Taste: The malt isn’t too sweet thanks to the very bitter hops. They play off each other well but the hops are a touch raw. Mouthfeel: Slightly thin and boring. Drinkability: Mouthfeel is easy, ABV isn’t too high, and flavor is decent but bitter. Mediocre. Hard to stand up to all the big boys in this area. Definitely a good choice if you’re in a limited selection moment.

Slightly hazy copper/orangeish pour. Off white head and drippy lace. Pine Butterscotch, and caramel on the nose. Body is slightly thin. Citrus, diacetal, pine and caramel . rubbery aftertaste. Lingering bitter finish.

Peregrinari (148) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - APR 17, 2010
Nice nose with citrus/orange and mild cranberry with some molasses in the end. Taste is about average but missing some of what the aroma promised though it has some walnut and mild maltiness. Appearance is a nice gold and amber. Overall would drink again but not a ringer for me.

Upfront citrus aroma with molasses. Aroma is better than the taste. For a 6.4 there is a fair amount of alcohol taste. Batter as it warms up with a nutty finish.
