3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at snoose junction. Pours a cloudy dark amber with bright golden edges. Dense creamy white head. Big fresh piney nose, very inviting. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Bitey dry mid palate; there’s toast and caramel there too under the resiny bite. Big dark dry resiny finish. Nice for an ipa that aims more for power than variety in flavors. Worth repeating.
On tap @ Mondial de la Biere 2017, Montreal. Hazy medium orange. Light caramel and acidic mandarin, moderately bitter finish. Solid. Ferris (16501) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 7, 2016
Draft - Nice sweet caramel malts with some nice citrus rind. Clear gold with a decent white head. Lots of sweet orange peel and a long sticky finish. Solid. euniceradio (562) - Worthington, Minnesota, USA - JUN 24, 2015
On tap at Ranier Bar & Grill in Enumclaw. Pours hazy copper. Hood lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, and floral. Taste is roasty, citrus and floral. Finish grapefruit bitter with moderate lasting finish. Pretty good. andrewje41 (4256) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - MAY 22, 2015
Draft pour pint at the 192 lake trail taproom. Pours a nice copper orange color with a lasting bubbly head and lacing. Wonderful fresh hops aroma. Flavor has a mild toastiness, nice citrus qualities, and a big hop presence. Not too bitter though. Overall very nice imperial here. I certainly enjoyed it. luttonm (6759) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 26, 2015
Draft at 192. Slight hazy dark gold. Small foam. Very mild aroma, medium apple sweet body, some tart harsh bitter aftertaste. Dark pine hop, but astringent. Not terribly pleasant.

On tap at The Local, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, along with floral notes and just enough crackery malt to back. Flavour is sweeter than the aroma suggests, with perfumey floral hops, and sugary sweet caramel bready malt that is too present. Not well-balanced and lacking in hops. Not the best. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAY 17, 2014
Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color. Nose is fairly bitter, with some grass elements to it and a slight bit of feet. Taste is moderately bitter, but doesn’t seem all that fresh to me. TheRealMGD (555) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - SEP 2, 2012
Tap @ K&K. Hazy orange pour with a persistent, short white head leaving moderate lace. Nose is fairly malty, with a touch of pine hops. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Pretty ordinary double IPA: Caramel, grapefruit rind, more EtOH bitterness than I like in any beer and some oranges. Finish is long and bitter, with more EtOH bitterness and some dandelion. Pretty average, which puts it well below the high water mark in this part of the world. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 14, 2010
