jefcon (1935) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - MAR 17, 2015
An upscale honey-brown. Sweet aromas, light palate, some delicacy from the belgianesque treatment, but really a sweet beer with a fatal dose of honey. Oddly timed in the marketplace.

Bottle. Bright golden yellow color, small white head. Aroma of floral tropical fruit. Taste is bready citrus. Decent.

mambossa (338) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - JAN 13, 2015
From bottle, pours a straw-gold. Decent head retention. Grassy, honey, sweet hop aroma. Flavor starts off on a high wheaty note mellowing out to some citrus and mild honey. Very drinkable, booziness well-hidden.

Poured from the bottle of a 4-pack into the pint glass. I bought this beer because I had never seen it before and that it is 8.5%. The taste is sweet and a bit on the gritty side, with some funk in the background (like if George Clinton made an Arnold Palmer in a beer bag in his basement). I give it the extra point for being strong and the effort of making it different.

bottle. Golden with one finger head. Light fruity base with moderate booze and mild spicing. The right elements are here, but it’s just missing the balance and depth that you get from better examples of this style.

3.4
Cybercat (6333) - Georgia, USA - OCT 24, 2014
Comes out of the tap an attractive clear golden with a nice eggshell head. Aroma is strongly fruity, apple and some banana with a hint of pear.flavor starts with a malty core and adds apple, banana, butterscotch, and yeasty notes plus a snip of pear and a whisper of caramel. Texture is about average in the fizz and viscosity departments. Go to the backwoods for one.

obguthr (6824) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - OCT 18, 2014
Peach, green peas, shitty hay nose. Clear amber, medium head. Peach flavor with less of a vegetal quality, but it’s still there. Very subtle babyfood banana, presence. Drinks a little warm, full body.

Aurelius (5651) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 6, 2014
Clear, gold. Tangy, honeyish aroma, moderately sweet. Straw malt, alcohol bitterness comes through, medium sweetness, light yeastiness. Slippery mouthfeel. Quick bitter aftertaste. Fair. Growler County. On tap.

Appearance: pretty clear golden color, pours with a large off white head that dissipates quickly Aroma: lemon, bread, banana, smells good Taste: sweet, banana, slight bitterness on the finish, Palate: soft carbonation, frothy mouthfeel, slight bitter aftertaste, Overall: not bad, drinks like a hefeweizen, hides the abv dangerously well, ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Honeysuckle Tea, eh? Would not have come up with that, though now that you say it, yeah, that tastes like honeysuckle tea in there. A little too oddly fruity for me, though it’s certainly not bad.
