3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from 4-pack. Pour is beautiful clear light gold. Small fizzy white head dissipates quickly. Aroma of peach, bread and yeast. Tea is subtle. Taste is lightly sweet with a grainy overtones. Moderately dry finish. Effervescent mouthfeel. Body is medium. Better on the cold side where it maintains a crispness. Warming it is a touch sweet. A nice brew. Satisfying and delicious, although it does not lend itself to sessioning.
Bottle. Spicy Belgian yeast aroma with notes of banana, clove and some honey. Pours cloudy golden colored with half a finger of white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with spicy Belgian yeast and banana flavors. Finishes dry and fairly smooth clove and a bit of banana sweetness. Pretty good. NachlamSie (3597) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 11, 2017
12 oz. draft at the brewery. Very clear, deep gold body with a bubbly white head. Sweet fruits in the nose with suggestions ofclove, banana, honey, pepper. The palate is full and the flavor a little sweeter than I like, but not bad. Hints at white grape and spicy clove are rounded out with honey, flowers, and banana. Bottle @cgarvieuk. April Not So Fools Tasting 2014 [Rating Backlog April 2014] Pours golden with a white head. Nose is grass and hay, slightly sweet, candi sugar. (Rating #10,600) Bottle... Pours clear and golden with orange highlights. The aroma is full of yeast-driven fruits and spices - plantain, pear, pear, clove. Full-bodied with tickling carbonation. The flavor features sweet honey, sugary malts and fruity esters with a dash of phenolic spiciness. Lingering spicy-sweet finish with a kiss of alcohol warmth. Bottle courtesy of drowland!

From a 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Flavors of toffee and pit fruits. Smooth finish. kramer (6975) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 26, 2015
Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy yellow gold body under a small fizzy white head. The nose is lightly fruity and sweet with some honey notes and a light yeastiness. The flavor isn’t all that exciting, some pale bready maltiness, rather sweet, fruity, a slight alcohol kick, floral finish, minimal yeastiness. Medium bodied with a slight sugary stickiness and fizzy active carbonation. Can’t get into this one too much, a little too sweet and lacking in complexity. Courtesy my Secret Santa. Thanks! Now to the beer. Blah. Was not able to finish this. Aroma was the saving grace of this beer. Sweet honey, Belgian yeast and cotton candy. You could almost smell sweetness and candi sugar. Smelled kind of like a Bit O’ Honey. Pour was a flat hazy orange with no bubbles or head. Taste was way too sweet. Candi sugar, strong sticky honey and bubble gum. Very sticky. Mild carbonation. Tasted like liquid sugar with huge doses of honey. jgb9348 (6579) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - AUG 26, 2015
Crisp, very slightly hazy golden coloured body with a glow of honey and a very thin, faint off-white head. Aroma of yeast, light grass and honey, some caster sugar and a bit of very light spices - fairly mild. Full-bodied; Rich honey flavour with a lot of yeast and bananas and a nice malty bite from wheat and flowers. Aftertaste shows a very polished yeast strain along with some nice sugars from fruit and honey and a subdued but noticeable grass and herb bite. Overall, a nice beer that doesn’t look so great nor smell amazing, but the taste is very elegant and reminiscent of a true belgie with a smooth finish showing relatively good complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 28-April-2015 for US$3,69 sampled at home in Washington just a few steps away on 25-August-2015.
