Not a big wheatie fan so there is that on the front end. With that said I am happy to try Fleur de Wheat at the local Little Woodrow’s. The approach is very nice, a pale dark yellow with a thinnish head that does lace well. I taste grain and a slight metallic hit at the end. A light finish, minimal bitterness. 12 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, grains and spices DocJitsu (2096) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - NOV 6, 2016
Pours a mostly clear deep golden wit a rich, clingy, off white head. Doesn’t look like a wheat; more like a malty IPA. Custardy, buttermilky nose. Creamsicle and custard flavors. A bit lively on the palate.

Lazy Magnolia Fleur De Wheat has a thick, bone-colored head, a clear, amber appearance, bubble streams, and low level lacing left behind. The aroma is of pronounced graham cracker, syrup, bread crust, sweetness, some honey, some pecan meat, and other unique aromas, that I can not place. Taste is of all those elements, with coconut and pecan shell. Mouthfeel is medium and syrupy, and Fleur De Wheat finishes medium dry and highly drinkable!

Grainy, lemon, mild tangelo & lime, malt really comes through on the nose. Clear medium gold, maybe srm of 7, little to no head. Grainy wheaty richness that lingers with sweetness and hints of spice, chamomile (which I probably wouldn’t get if I didn’t know it’s in the beer), orangish meyer lemon, mild sweetness. Sweetness is present but it finishes very balanced with dryness begging you to take the next sip, well bittered for perfect balance again. So much better than Indian Summer ( which I never enjoyed as another expression of an Am Wheat ale from LM. Very drinkable, perfect for summer, I can’t get enough.
