nutty, sweet, and malty is the best way to describe this beer. very easy to drink. pours light brown in color with almost no head. had a draft at world of beer. salukibeer06 (1) - Cdale, Illinois, USA - NOV 15, 2012 does not count
I had this on tap in Nashville and thought it was one of the finer beers I’ve taste. Great sweet pecan smell, wonderful golden brown color, just the right amount of white head, and great taste. No real complaint, except maybe the difficulty finding this product anywhere north of TN. ration (2238) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 3, 2012
041112. Tap at the flying saucer, houston tx. Pours clear copper with a small head. Aroma caramel, hint of pecan. Quite thin. sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - APR 13, 2010
Cask @ Datz, Lazy Magnolia night.
Pours cloudy orange, light quickly disappearing white head.
Aroma is nutty, pecan with added honey sweetness. Roasted malts/caramel.
Flavors, grassy, nutty pecan palate with a sweet honey, light chocolate malts and roast followed by a herbal honey mouthfeel.
Seem to have a touch of smoked malts mixed with the honey and a tad of hops mixed within the sweetness.
Only downside was how little carbonation this cask had.
