3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Taco Mac. I was surprised by the low score this beer received. I thought it was a decent IPA. Hops dominate the aroma - both citrus and pine present. Not real balanced though, mostly bitter pine hop flavor, but not unpleasant. Oily mouthfeel, body might be just below moderate. Overall, nice hoppy IPA.
Clear deep honey golden under a thin off white foamy head. Rich nose of honey and orange rind bitterness. Smooth rich malty golden honeyed flavor with a brisk bitter hop flavor that’s citrus rindy and pjney with a warm pale malt semisweet sticky finish. Weird but tasty. zoucrew102 (2045) - - APR 23, 2017
Bottle. Grapefruit hop aroma with notes of orange and mango hops. Pours clear amber colored with a large off white head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with orange and mango hop flavors. Finishes dry with grapefruit hop acidity and flavors with a hint of bitterness that coats the palate after each sip. Pretty good IPA. Bottle (Feb 2017 bottling).
Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting.
Body is light amber.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (grapefruit, apricot, resin), with light notes of diacetyl, cotton candy.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
A bit light (5.5%) for an IPA, but otherwise decent enough. The aroma is ordinary, and has some light off odors, but isn’t too bad. It’s nicely balanced and bitter in the mouth, so if it was cleaner and more aromatically enticing it might actually be a winner. BelgianBeerGal (4135) - Panama City, Florida, USA - MAR 11, 2017
Rouse’s bottle walking to Garden District St Pattys Day parade. Tasty IPA with moderate bitterness focused on more fruity hops and less pine. Tasty and refreshing. Grumbo (3720) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - MAR 8, 2017
Bottle courtesy of Asbjorn, cheers. My first MS rating. Pours clear deep golden with a lasting off-white head. Aroma has a big dose of citrus, hop and tropical fruit. Medium sweetness, moderate fruity bitterness, slight sour tartness. Toward medium bodied, slight sticky texture, average to soft carbonation. Aroma beats the taste on this one, which is slightly artificial, but still very drinkable.

Bottle from Total Wines, Sterling VA. Pale gold in colour, with a decent, white, head. Plenty of floral hops, fresh pineapple and grapefruits, suggestion of pine, and crisp balancing malts, before a dry, hoppy finish. Very good. rosenbergh (11753) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 20, 2016
12 oz bottle. Bottled on 12/03/15. (Collins Midtown Liquor) Tulsa, OK.
It's almost a year since the bottling but I'm willing to take my chance.
Very lively golden color with a bog foamy white head. And that's how fresh IPAs they are selling here.
First the aroma is tropical fruity hoppy then turning glue-y and turpentiny. The flavor is... pure horror. Glue, turpentine and vomit. This probably needs another try a bit fresher. Wish I get it somewhere.
