12 ounce bottle. A beige thick head leaves light lacing. The beer is cinnamon hued and is quite hazy. First sniff brings tangerine and peaches. The flavor brings mangoes more than tangerine but it is still there. Decent bitterness. Some interesting hop notes. Mid glass I suddenly began to taste rye and the spiciness added a nice aspect to this beer. The finish brings grapefruit and the subsequent bitterness. Good stuff.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin ivory head, with some lacing, over a hazy light amber (SRM 10) body......nose pine, resin, lighter citrus peel, hints of sweet malts, rye spice tones....taste is rye, with rye spiciness, pine, resin, light hints of toffee/caramel, finishing with a lingering hop bitterness......mouth feel medium, sticky, alcohol warmth present, carbonation low, with a light acid finish. The hop aromas and flavors are a bit dominant over the rye. BJCP 7/3/14/4/7

Nice head, cloudy caramel colour. Aroma of phenol and fruit. Complex taste of fruit and spice with a slightly astringent palate.

Poured from a bottle. Cloudy orange color, full frothy off white head. Phenol smell with a fruit accent. Full body with a oily texture with a sweet rye bitter flavor.

Orange aroma but no rye. Strong ipa flavor well balanced with rye flavor. Rye isn’t overwhelming. Thick texture. Well done.

Not a big fan of ipa’s but I liked this one. Some orange in aroma and hops. Nice cloudy orange pour with frothy white head some citrus and pine in taste. Like most ipa’s. Too much bitterness at end but still good

The star of this brew is not the potent hops but the nutty rye malt. High a/c does not overpower this beer with bitterness. Just enough hop bite to match the smooth rye.
