A solid imperial rye pale--probably my first in the style. Very palatable (not overwhelming) for a 9 percent beer. Mellow hops & malt forward. Bottle. Bottled on 9/10/14. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pours a hazy burnt orange with an off white head and decent lacing. Aromas of citrus, mtropical fruit and caramel. Taste is straight forward citrus and tropical fruit with caramel and a good deal of alcohol. Medium bodied with moderate/high carbonation. Uncomplicated and too boozy.

I need to try it again. Orange copper pour with short lived white head. Aroma is musty grapefruit and pine. Taste is pine and paper, with grapefruit strong at the end. Want to try again, because it seems a bit strange but not in a bad way.

From a bottle. Pours hazy copper with a bubbly white head. Tastes smooth and strong, like alcohol, creamy citrus hops, caramel, some dry pine, and obvious grapefruit. Light/medium body and low carbonation. Smells like musky creamy hops, grapefruit and caramel.

Wood and pecan nose, caramel accents. Clear amber, thick cream colored sticky head. Overripe orange, lemon zest finish. Very subtle vanilla notes. Medium body, warm. Good intensity, barleywine-like.

Hazy deep yellow with a sizable head. A wall of lacing all the way down the glass as it’s consumed. Nice hopped up brew but it didn’t seem like a rye to me. Medium mouthfeel and not too dry. Looking forward to another
