Aroma is citrus, spicy, herbal, malt, rye. Flavor has a strong dose of rye but not overpowering, floral perfume hops, rich caramel, notes of raisins. Body is quite full. This is a really good beer.

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2014 Bottle > Boure, Oxford, MS. Solid IIPA. Spicy and bitter and dry and a bit piney. Best beer I’ve had from Lazy Magnolia. They’re in Texas now. I hope this one makes it’s way over on draught.---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Serving: Bottle. Hazy brown pour with a decent off white head. Surprisingly floral nose leads to a citrus, rye, and floral palate. Medium bodied with an off dry finish. Interesting and certainly drinkable.

Bottle - Orange, piney and spice with a sweet finish. Clear gold with a decent beige head. Lots of orange and citrus, with an acidic bitterness that finishes sweet and very dry. The bitterness overpowers the beer.

A dark golden color with three finger of cream colored head. Smells of pine, grass, a slight sweet flower. Taste has a medium hop bite at first with pine citrus flavors then gives way to a biscuit with bitter then ends with a little more bitter but some honey sweetness and some caramel malt. Bitter stays on the tongue, medium body medium carbonation. A little sweeter on the finish once it warms. A pretty decent IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

from a trade. First Mississippi beer. A few months past the best by date, but I think this is still a decent DIPA. rye gives it a unique spin with some spice from the hops

Dr_Fellini (1020) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - MAR 21, 2014
Bottle to glass. Pours a deep golden light amber color with a creamy off white head. Aroma is fleshy fruit, caramel sweetness. Flavor is a bit more mild, but still has some fruit hoppy sweetness. Light to medium in body with a lingering caramel fruitiness. Pretty solid.

Erzengel (9078) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 11, 2014
Very fresh and floral hops in the nose, the beer starts very floral and hop-aromatic. In the mainpart there is a nice smooth sweetness with hints of the rye, which makes it nice "grainy", a bit like a good rye bread. The aftertaste is long, intense-floral and very nice balanced rye-bitter.
A very great beer! I like it! --> 13/12//13/13
