12 oz. bottle. Hazy orange pour, with a medium, beige head. The aroma is heavy resin and floral hops, with some butterscotch and wet hay. The flavor is very bitter, with little to no malt backbone. Heavy body, sticky, and very astringent. Low carbonation. Overall, this is a strong and hoppy, but fairly unpleasant beer.

kramer (6611) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 18, 2017
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber body with a small frothy off-white head. The nose is a little light on the hops for a DIPA. Theres a pretty equal citrusy hoppiness and toasty caramel maltiness to the aroma. The flavor is pretty well on par with the aroma. Not quite enough hop flavor or bitterness to compete with the malt. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Meh, not quite what I want in a Double IPA.
