Pretty sure this is my first Mississippi beer...quite the moment! Consumed at Banger's in Austin. Golden orange in color with a deeper orange hue...almost rust. Nose is bright citrus with a spiciness present. Taste really brings a rye wallop that I didn't fully anticipate. Alcohol presence definitely felt. Lots of pine resin layered into the equation and that's the dominant factor in the aftertaste. Packs a large punch with a great deal of spice and bitterness. In general it's a little misguided. The beast needs to be tamed.

Habanero (4848) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2017
Bottled. Pours slightly hazy golden with an average off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pineapple and piney notes. Sweet taste that ends up more dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice DIPA. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bottle into a pint glass. Pours a clear dark amber, with a moderate khaki head. Decent lacing. Nose is dark malt and caramel. Taste is malt backbone, some caramel, and a spicy rye finish. Not over-hopped, and well balanced. Good stuff.

Bottle. Clear, light orange. Big citrus orange peel in the aroma. Caramel malty notes with defined sweetness. Sweet notes in the flavor. Rye spice on the finish, dry lingering. Malty notes play a big part upfront. Citrus hops as well.
