Bouteille 500ml. Couleur noire opaque, mousse moka dense laissant une belle dentelle, un peu huileuse. Arôme d’espresso, métallique plutôt désagréable. Goût d’espresso, de métal, avec une bonne amertume. Carbonation moyenne-élevée, un peu aqueuse pour une stout.

Gout juste correcte de café super belle mousse mais attention verser lentement si vous ne voulez pas de mousse! 5% c est parfait! 8/10 pour moi!

Arômes intenses de café. Robe noire. Mousse beige éphémère. En bouche, torréfaction et café. J’espère pouvoir dormir ce soir!

500ml bottle pours black in colour with a finger and a half of light brown head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted grains and coffee with chocolate. Taste is a roasted grain and coffee bitterness with a chocolate malty sweetness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a well crafted stout that is both balanced and tasty. Very enjoyable.

Almost opaque dark brown color with a copper hue. Frothy and creamy light brown 2 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with goods amount of lacing. Flavors of roasted cappuccino, caramel, faint chocolate, dark malts, herbal spices. Balanced sweetness and bitterness. Slick and smooth medium body with the perfect amount of crispy carbonation. Strong finish, a little chalky but calms down with time, soft astringent feel of coffee and herbs, faint earthy and leathery. Incredible fresh coffee beans smell and feel. Coarse but still fresh, well intensified, pleasant to drink, and very tasty. Overall very good quality craft.

Pours dark mahogany red color with a large off-white head. Very strong coffee aroma, subtle orange notes, toffee, some caramel and malts. Bitter malty flavor, coffee, some cocoa, toffee and mild hops. Like a lighter version of Nørrebro La Granja Stout. Good but a bit thin.

Black with a small tan head. Aroma is coffee and roasted malts, leather, tobacco, ash. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter with a good amount of roasted coffee, some leather notes, light tobacco and some sweet maltiness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, somewhat creamy texture.

Dark brown appearance, thick light tan head. Aromas of coffee and malt. Strong coffee taste, roasty. Leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, expected from the coffee. Body is a bit light. Not very complex, more of a straight up coffee beer than a stout.

Spab (3844) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 28, 2015
500 ml bottle from Drummondville Metro. Pours a dark chestnut brown with modest-sized, lasting light tan head. Aroma is big on coffee and roasted maltiness, with some cocoa powder. Flavour is also very big on coffee with lots of roastiness, some subtle cocoa and a bit of sweet caramel. Body is a little thinner than I’d have expected. Lingering coffee bitterness in finish, I enjoyed this one.

Draught @ Vices & Versa, Montréal. Pours xloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of roast, with notes of coffee and malty touches. Bitter flavour of roast and coffee beans, with some sweetish malty and estery hints and touches of hops. Roasty and estery aftertaste. Quite a lot of coffee, but this does not make it a bad beer.
