COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This one is different than the Bieropholie version as it has a different yeast and hops. It has also some difference through the fermentation process. The malts and the honey are not exactly the same. And, of course, this one has less alcohol. They have the same type of aromas, but some esters are really not the same.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Velvety okay butterscotch and bourbon aroma with some citrusy hops. Hazy dark brown under a lacy, off white cover. Potent bourbon, sweet flavour with some banana esters and transcendent booze. Medium to full body, moderate carbonation, sweet finish.

Taster at RBWG 2014 grand tasting - thanks to the person who shared this! Mostly clear dark brown red color. Thin khaki head. Some dots and ropes of lace. Pretty sweet taste, some alcohol warmth. Lots of caramel malt, and dark fruit. Hint of chocolate, toffee. Lighter carbonation, kind of smooth and creamy. Eh, alright scotch ale. Good complex malt character, but yeah, has a lot of the characteristics of english scotch ales that I’m not crazy about. Tastes like it may have some age on it, too.

Flavor is sweet malt dominant with dark fruits, light smoke, earthy and spicy hops with light bitterness and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.
