500 ml bottle. Pours a dark, clear, reddish brown with a resilient pale beige head. Smell is bananas, wheat, roasted bread and chocolate. Taste is very ripe bananas, wheat, bread, burnt caramel. Not all that tasty, somewhat subtle. Finish is light bitterness, although it feels sharp. Some spice in it. Lingering overripe banana flavor. Medium body, silky, soft mouthfeel. Very good dunkelweizen!

Bottle. Clear cola body, medium beige head with good retention. Aroma of bananas, caramel, nuts and fruit compote. Taste of caramel, banana bread, nuts, some metallic tones. Enjoyable dunkel.

500ml bottle pours a pale amber brown colour with a finger and a half of white head that settles down to leave some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild banana with some other fruits and caramel. Taste is a fruity and caramel malty sweetness with a grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with adequate carbonation. Overall, this does not represent the style very well, but is a decent brew. A little bit too sweet and lacking the light roasted tones of a good dunkelweizen.

Correcte !

Pours a medium hazy brown/red with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of caramel, alcohol, spices. Taste is moderately bitter, roasted with some caramel and too much bananas. Weirdly alcoholic. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. Pretty good but a bit out of style maybe.

Looks like a dunkelweizen, not sure that it tastes like one though(certainly not one brewed in Germany). It not that it was not good,in fact it was quite refreshing, but just not like anyone of the 100(+) traditional dunkleweizens that i have had.

Armes de caramel, banane, noix et mlasse. En bouche, malt grill, banane et caramel. Lgre touche citronn et amre venant du houblon. Corps mince et finale brve trs minrale sur fond danis et noisettes.

Well this is a weird one. Colour is dark brown, turning to amber when the light hits it. A thin, light brown cap stops by to say hello then disappears like a wisp of smoke. Nose is banana and clove, caramel and toasted grain, but what pervades is something, or a combination of things, that smells like....tomato juice? Rating beers like this makes me wonder if I have a brain tumour. Taste-wise its an improvement, as the phantom tomato juice seems less pervasive, but it lingers, psychosomatically or not. Its more bitter/sour than sweet, slightly watery, and the lingering bitterness on the finish seems both pleasant and weirdly out of place. Overall I dont know what the hell is going on with this beer, but I didnt enjoy it, and it hurts my brain - kind of like an Oliver Stone movie. Judging by the reviews below I feel like this may be an off batch, but that doesnt get me my $6 back.
