pitch dark, smooth soft large light brown head. I didn’t really pour it in any special way, but it looks perfectly fantastic.
sweet malty, sweet caramelly, lacto, roasted notes. nice mildish roasted sweet aroma.
flavor is sweet malty , faint mild caramel,lots of roasted stuff that goes more hard roasted and charchoal like in the aftertaste, licorice. super!.

Clear deep ruby red color, medium lasting brown head. Sweet, chocolate, salty, licorice, alcohol scent. Smoke, roasted, alcohol taste. Coffee aftertaste. Moussy mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness.
When blind tasting our thoughts never touched on it being a milk stout, we were rather surprised to hear that classification.

Bottled. A black beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt as well as some chocolate. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt combined with medium notes of chocolate and caramel, as well as light notes of licorice.
