Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours a nice, deep redish chestnut black with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Fair duration. Aroma has milky chocolate, softly roasted malts and light sweetness. Medium carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Soft and elegant flavours, light milky tartness, dry, roasted, some chocolate. Long, lingering dryness. Well composed and light vinious in the finish.

pitch dark, smooth soft large light brown head. I didnt really pour it in any special way, but it looks perfectly fantastic. sweet malty, sweet caramelly, lacto, roasted notes. nice mildish roasted sweet aroma. flavor is sweet malty , faint mild caramel, lots of roasted stuff that goes more hard roasted and charchoal like in the aftertaste, licorice. super!. The flavor is deep and full, palate is soft. This stout is really good, even though the abv is not way high.

Cask, Peterborough Fest 11. Near black with a beige foam. Aromas earthy, rich roast coffee with liquorice and soy. Caramel with some chocolate. Smells strangely of rock pools. Flavours are sweet coffee with caramel and soy. Bitter grapefruit with earthy notes. Liquorice with raisins and dark chocolate bitterness. A really good stout.

33 cl bottle thanks to RobertGBG!
Sampled on December 17, 2010
BB date Apr 2012.
This bottle marked 6.6% ABV
Clear deep ruby red color, medium lasting brown head. Sweet, chocolate, salty, licorice, alcohol scent. Smoke, roasted, alcohol taste. Coffee aftertaste. Moussy mouthfeel, medium high dry bitterness.
When blind tasting our thoughts never touched on it being a milk stout, we were rather surprised to hear that classification.

75cl bottle courtesy of Erwin @ RBBSG II. BB 11/2014.
