Opaque black - brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth palate with a crispy edge, dry. Fresh dark malt, a little roast and a trace of coffee. Mild minerals. Dash of malt cream. Mellow and minerally orange citrus hops. Finishes dry with a mild coffee aftertaste. A bit dry but a fresh porter. Hardly a sweet stout!
Bottle from Biérocratie, Paris.
Dark brown color, almost inexistent tan head. Smell is a good balance between sweet and bitter, like roasty mocha. Taste is rather "light", would be nice if a bit more full-bodied I think. Aromas of strong milk chocolate with notes of malty caramel, coffee, spices. Low carbonation. Long and nice sweet spicy/liquorice/cocoa flavor sticks in the mouth, without too much bitterness.
Pleasant and rather easy to drink stout.
