jerohen (2348) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - AUG 24, 2017
Bottled 0.75 L from local French supermarket. Quite some pressure in the bottle. Slightly hazy golden colored. Sour apple nose, bit funky. Pretty sweet flavor, hint of sourness, decent body. More dry in finish. Imho not as good as the brut, but still quite okay.

Bue avec crêpes maison. Bon nez (style brut) mais acidité trop importante pour que je l’apprécie vraiment. Je préfère un vrai brut ou un doux. Je trouve qu’il a gardé le moins bon de chaque style...

RobertDale (6755) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - MAY 23, 2016
Sample at Waldo Hopfest 2016. Comes a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma and taste of apples and barnyard. Seemed a bit dry to me, still enjoyable.

Bottle. Dark yellow colour. Powerfull nice apple/barnyard aroma. Moderate apple flavor. Average finish. Semi dry/sweet. Oily palate. Ok cider.

ClubGonzo (5685) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 10, 2011
Bottle from Galeria Kaufhof, Alexanderplatz, Berlin. Pours a hazy light yellow body with a fizzy white head which disappears quickly (as expected). Nose is yellow apples, molasses, muscat grapes and hints of yeast and cloudberries (for some reason). Taste is yellow apples, apple juice, earth and wood, with some rather peculiar - but not mismatching, somehow - notes of smoked ham and lemons. Complex and a bit strange - but in a nice way. Medium carbonation which works rather refreshing. A pleasant French cider surprise.

Marko (5930) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAR 1, 2011
Bottle No 16062 from the Carrefour in St. Denis. Murky full yellow body, Sweet gluey appleay nose that starts with a pleasant fresh green apple note that unfortunately doesn’t last long. The same applies to the taste too, a normally gluey appley taste that’s enhanced by that fresh green apple presence for a while. Dryish, natural, grew on me. Lovely

Bottle 750ml.
Light unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate barnyard, overripped apple, apple, rubber. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, dry finish and fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20091130]

Corked bottle
Cloudy deep blond color; the head disappears quickly. Nice aroma of mature apples and wood, light citrus fruits too. It’s too much carbonated, but it has a respectable flavor of apple peel, and a pleasant astringency. Good, rough French cider.
