Bottle (04-05-17). Appearance: barely cloudy and slightly golden blonde, very nice thick white foam with high retention, but quite low carbonation. Smell: white grapes, smooth funky Brettanomyces and very subtle oak barrel. Taste: note of white grapes, green apple and lemon, some components from chardonnay's aromatic profile along with smooth spiciness from rye, low to no funk from Bretts as saison yeast kinda take over, very low and subtle sourness, low to medium sugar, medium feel and drinkability, perhaps due getting over-oaky as it warms down a bit. Overall: saison with interesting use of chardonnay barrel aging (wonder if barrels are from France or New world), but resulting in lower complexity than expected, as bretts do not show enough and both aromatic profile and feel can be questioned, still enjoyable. fiulijn (21558) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 10, 2017

Cloudy blond color. Quite strong Brett, funky aroma, with white wine notes, hints of vanilla. Well carbonated, quite dry, with strong vinous character, tannins, woody astringency, mild acidity.
500ml bottle @ Josh's. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a small white head. Nose is wine gums, wild yeasts, and chardonnay. Flavour is nicely Brett influenced upfront and then fades to a bitterness. Oakes (19714) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 7, 2017
Quite pale. The aroma really jumps out nicely, with brett, lots of sweet pale malts, and a nice floral note as well. Fresh-tasting, lively. Sweet pale malts, big brett character and then closes out with a robust woody finish. Really nice - well-balanced and every element is hitting. mcberko (20487) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 7, 2017
500mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma has various gentle wild yeasts and light chardonnay. Flavour has a very lovely brett character, with gentle chardonnay. Not the most complex out there, but the wild yeast really do nice things here. Very good.

Cloudy pale gold pour. Fairly intense nose: tart and vinous, light brett funk, vinegar and oak. This stuff is smooth as silk, tart, funky, dry, lightly bitter, lightly boozy. Nice smooth texture. Very nice, as usual.

De coulerai jaune oranger avec un peu everfesssance et le col est blanc . On n’a des notes de Brett et de vin de blanc . Cest un très bon mélangée , cest une Biere pour un bon souper . Sammy (13250) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 10, 2017
2017 edition. Good chardonnay taste and although dominated by that taste, is clearly a wild beer. Some vinegar in finish.Lacy. Lubiere (14433) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 9, 2017
A hazed golden ale with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with loads of Brett, ground cherries, Epsom salts, light funky herbaceous character, nice and complex. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with acidity, light Brett, light grapeskins, ground cherries, lactic acid notes, very nice. On tap at Festibière de Gatineau été 2017. robinvboyer (4849) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 1, 2017
The brett imparts a strong tropical Aroma, loads of mango and papaya with some solid pineapple. Hints of funk, lots of earthy barrel and really nice vinous white wine, and acidic notes. Incredibly complex, great mouth feel, soft carb finish is lightly bitter, earthy barrel all the way to the end, hints of white wine, very acidic with some strong funk and more tropical fruit. Great stuff!
