COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fermented with a wild yeast strain isolated by a craft brewer and yeast lab in Colorado, this beer exploits the strain’s ability to produce fruity esters during primary fermentation. Add in a healthy dry-hopping regime with Pacific Northwest hops, and you have a beer that offers the consumer two choices: drink fresh and enjoy as you would any hoppy beer, or let a few bottles age to appreciate the evolution of Brett character over time.

[9501-20170805] 500mL bottle. Yeasty light fruity floral grass aroma. Hazy, orange brown body with a big long-lasting foamy white head and some lacing. Light grassy yeast flavour. Medium body. Good. (7/4/8/4/15) 3.8

Best beer I have ever tasted - so far. This is the reason I like beer over any other alcoholic beverage. Its taste is so complex - and rich. After one bottle I am satiated. It has spoiled me for any other beer - so far. That is why I say "rich" and should add satisfying (cliché) The bouquet is lovely - it is seductive - it hypnotizes you into tasting it and that is when you are hooked!! A hint of citrus fruits which is what always attracted me to IPAs. But this beer surpasses that and fulfills the need. I might add - it is good for you - bitters are good for the stomach!!!

Bottle from Les Delires du Terroir. Bottled April 13th. The attendant at Les Delires du Terroir was very excited about this one & I’m eager to dig into it. Ripe peaches meets slight Brett character. Great mouthfeel. What I like about this seems to be what some other people are complaining about: its complex & interesting while being highly drinkable. Fantastic beer.

2017-08-05. Lightly hazy yellow-orange body with a nice creamy foamy white head. 4+ Aroma is quite mild and subtle, lightly musty funk, sweetish pale malt, light fruit. 7+ Flavour is similar, lightly yeasty musty funk up front. Sweetish pale malt, moderate fruit. Dryish pale malt in the finish. 7+ Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. 3+ Enjoyable and tasty, but not quite as much depth as I had hoped for from the description. 7/4/7/3/16 Bottle from Marche Jovi, Gatineau.

Only a touch of sour in this wild, farmhouse, fresh wild beer. Liam’s bottle. Quaffable if uninteresting really. Decent mouthfeel.

Rating #2582 - 2017.08.03 - Bottle at @beerblast Le Quebec event. Aroma is barnyard, Brett, funk, citrus. Pours a rather fizzy straw yellow that bubbles quickly away. Palate has some Brett funk, some citrus, some rather present bitterness. This presses all of my buttons while scaring most away.

Cloudy, tan, bubbly head. Brett first. Some icing sugar sweet pale malts, a fair bit of nice orangey hop, and I like it, but not super clean or complex.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, nice funky malt with light grassy hops, light Brett, light lactic notes, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity citrusy malt with light grassy hops, citrus and tropical fruits, light Brett, light lactic notes, very nice. On tap at Festibière de Gatineau été 2017.

Bouteille 500 ml.
