on tap on the premises. hazy golden, salmon tint, with a small off-white cap offering some retention and lacing. fresh raspberries, berry soap, peppery wheat, light phenolic notes, some tea and raspberry leaves, bitter peel, light on-the-spot acidity, salt, other minerals. moderate carbonation, light body, dry, lightly tart herbal finish. pretty nice raspberry wheat ale.

How: On tap at Le Cheval Blanc.

>>> A delicate leafy forward raspberry beer. Easy drinking and quenching.

- Hazy salmon color with a small pinkish head and little lacing.
- Delicate mix of leafy raspberries and herbal notes in both aroma and taste.
- There’s a mild wheaty tartness in taste that enhance the refreshing character of the beer.
- The leafy presence lingers a bit in the aftertaste.

Flavors: Raspberries leaves, raspberries, herbal notes, wheat.

draft at brewery, this is just a glass of very light raspberry juice. LIght carbonation and very pink pour.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy pink pour with thin lacy white head. Aroma of raspberries, wheaty aromas, fruity but not overpowering, balanced raspberry aroma. Taste is fruity, still has a good wheaty "beery" taste however, balanced fruitiness, light tea like leafy notes. Palate is med-light bodied with light-med carbonation. Good.

Nice aroma of raspberry, and a touch of yeast. The flavour is thin though. It doesnt live up to the aroma, but its decent, a god summer beer.

[522-20070811] Tap @ Cheval Blanc (Montréal, QC). Smells like raspberry soap and thin pasty puke?! (Otherwise good.) Clear, light red amber body with a quick foamy white head. Nice raspberry flavour without too much bitterness, just a touch of a strange wheat aftertaste. Medium body is smooth. Surprising and not over-powering.

Draught pint at the brewpub with tiggmtl, June 17 2007. Quite bright, pinkish-red appearance, a touch of head, a bit of lacing....tart, very fresh and "real" fruity aroma, not quite lambic-tart but more acidic and assertive than the majority of fruit beers, certainly, if rather one-dimensional....body is tart, plenty of wheat malt character, dry and approaching sour at the finish....heavily carbonated, a bit too dull and bland at the finish, but overall quite solid, one of the better raspberry wheats I’ve had.
