473 ml can from St. Nicholas Metro. Pours a modestly hazy brownish gold with large, puffy slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet grains and big floral hoppiness. Flavour is also quite floral with, sweet grains and some lemon. Modest bitterness in finish. Not bad.

Pours a dark golden brown with a small bubbly white top. Aroma is grassy grains and small earthly hops. Taste is bland, grassy hops with some earthy hops and low bitterness. Rather blah.

On tap at Le Corsaire. The color is a hazy orange with a thin beige head. The aroma is weak, some hops and fruits. It gets better with the taste it is very bitter and I like bitter beers,a lot of hops, citrus fruits, malt. It has a nice finish in the mouth.

On tap at Festibière de Québec. Clear amber with a nice white head. Tastes like sweetbread and fruits. Subtle, yet enjoyable citrus bitterness. Light-bodied, quite refreshing. Good session ale, great summer beer.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2012 Tasty! Can be considered as a light IPA! Hops is citrus! Nice beer to take on a hot day without the inconvenience of calling a cab after drinking it!

On tap. Pours dark golden/brown, with some white head. Aroma: not too much to say. Taste: citrus, hops, water. Not too bad, but not very good either. Not enough flavors, lack of character.

473ml can. The interesting leafy noble-English-hop profile is pretty much stealing the show here. The malt backbone offers some distant cookie notes but it is either a little shy or, probably, clouded by the hops, but the beer still feels quite balanced. And enjoyable. And easy to drink. And with a long dry aftertaste... Very good light stuff. And I’m happy with the price I paid: 11,99$ for 4 cans of 473ml, or 3,29$ each. It’s funny but I don’t often see, in Québec, 500 ml micro-brewery bottles sold at such a low price; they’re often 3,99$ and even more often 4,99$ each. I think I can let go 27ml for the price difference. But this might be this brewer’s most pleasant offering, though...

Can 473 ml
Aroma: sweet caramel , malty nose with British hop profile. Bitter aromas sides. Good. 6+
Appearance: thick cloudy brown-amber look with medium light creamy top. 3-
Body/Flavour/Palate: Dry, crisp hop feel , leafy twig notes. Brit sided with slight sugary finish. Finishing with feel of black tea. Solid.
