Well, this one does not seem infected... that’s a good sign. Lots of berries in the nose... seems legit. Hazy amber colour with some golden hues, a warm creamy-frothy head, good retention and decent lacing. Pretty good until this. Then, not sure what to make of the taste. Some berries, but overall pretty watery. Really? For 7% ABV. ?? After the fruits disappear quickly, some weird herbal bitterness and then, grain in the finish. Is this an error (miscalculated alcohol lever)? Well, at least no infected sourness in this one. RickTheRick (949) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 24, 2016
Ouin.
AgentAle (1806) - Alberta, CANADA - SEP 4, 2014
Aroma is pretty pale. Some light fruitiness. Taste is light sweet notes which is met by a nice fruitiness that dissipates fairly quickly. Appearance is a hazy amber /orange with a pearl head that retains fairly well. Spab (4002) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 20, 2014
500 ml bottle from Drummondville Metro. Pours a somewhat murky copper colour with small off-white head. Aroma is berries, honeyed grains and caramel. Flavour is quite sweet with blackberries, honey, caramel and other fruitiness. Sticky mouthfeel. Different, but didn’t really do it for me - a little too sweet and artificial.

500ml bottle @ the Fourth Shrewsbury Bottle Share April 2014, courtesy of myself. Big blackberry nose with lots of juicy blackberries present and accounted for in the taste. The honey seems very subtle with some additional vanilla cheesecake flavours emerging. Others in the group got cough medicine, but I can only wish I had cough medicine like that when I was younger. One of the beers of the evening for me. BlackHaddock (7562) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2014
Really excited when I saw this on the table at the fourth Shrewsbury bottle swap on 28th April 2014: we don’t see many Canadian beers in Shropshire. My heart however fell when I realised it was a blackberry flavoured brew. I still had a good share of the 500ml bottle though, just to make sure I wouldn’t like it. Sweet blackberry nose, sweet and sour blackberry taste. Not my cup of tea. guzgorog (916) - FRANCE - APR 6, 2014
Bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. Clear dark amber thin white head. Fruity aroma. What is it? Raspberry, strawberry? Raspberry I think. It’s fine. A little unsubtle. Not too sweet or sour. Some malt. Not too boozy. It’s fine. Perfumed fruit aroma. A little artificial? anders37 (26878) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUN 4, 2013
Bottle @ yespr. Pours a golden pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity syrupy berry aroma. Fruity malty spicy berry flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy berry finish.
