500ml bottle pours amber in colour with a finger of white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is maple syrup with some grassy notes. Taste is predominantly maple syrup with a grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, a very sweet brew that is not very desirable. Now showing 7% ABV. Pours a hazy rich amber colour with a warm cap, good stay and the lacing is quite nice as well. Nice aromas of maple sugars over butterscotch notes. Oh boy, infection again for this brewery. Lots of sourness which is definitely not wanted with maple. Other than that, maple flavours with some fruity malts. Over ten years ago when I tasted one of their brews, and still infected... c’mon, get your act together. Not one bit "Desérable". Matwill (101) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 11, 2016

This ale is for me, the expression of what a maple syrup flavoured beer should be. It pours a crystal clear copper with roughly no carbonation topped by a thin airy marble head showing nice lacing. The nose is maple, maple and MAPLE!!! The pairing with the malts even gives the impression of smelling pancakes. The taste is on target with just enough roasted malts to balance out the sweetness of the maple syrup. It finishes hoppy but the maple will persist way pass the end. This awesome ale is not too sweet and could probably be defined as liquid candy. Sincerely, everything works (visual, smell and taste). Great product I strongly recommend. You could easily use this beer to marinade a pork roast with some garlic and veggies or on a nice oven roasted ham and it will definitely give it some kick! I know my rating is higher than most people, but that must be because I got it really (and I mean really) fresh. Beers brewed with maple syrup don’t let that flavour come through so much usually and when they do, it dissipates quickly as the yeast eat away the sugars of the beer. Aroma is raisin, plum, vinegar and funkiness. Taste is a light malt sweetness which is consumed by a sour and funky body. Appearance is a clear copper with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.
