Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear nutty brown with a beige head. Odd, sweet artificial woody booze aroma. Thin body, doesnt appear 7% at all. Some burned caramel and extremely artificial Cognac flavours. 270413

Best possible aroma. Would febreze all over. However, afterwards it all goes downhill: pretty quick and sour finish that is only tolerable through multiple sniffs of that incredible odor. Also kinda flat, which I think is to be expected from this kind of beer.

Pours dark brown with a small white top. Aroma is bubble gum, sweet caramel and light roast. Taste is very carbonated, sickly sweet, light roast and still bubble gum. Where the hell is that coming from? Is that the cognac?

Produit trs intressant. Armes sublimes de cognac et fruits rouges. Faible mousse qui disparat rapidement. Robe noire.

Bottle 50cl, an amber brown beer with medium head. Nose is on caramel and yes cognac notes. Aroma is on dry burnt caramel, cognac notes, light barrel touch at the finish. Bitter and astringent notes, light roasted notes, very less complex than expected.

500ml bottle served in a snifter around 14 degrees. Pours a nice opaque black robe letting shine some dark maple highlights. I got about a finger of frothy/creamy off-white head and I could easily spot some big carbs. The nose is liquor and cherries with not so much presence of the hops or yeasts. On the tongue, this beer is copious liquor with a sweet cherry / vanilla character. Some spices come through, nutmeg perhaps, but its subtle. The brew feels too aqueous and lacks body to accompagny such a strong liquorish flavour. Good, but not great. Cheers!

500 ml bottle from Drummondville Metro. Pours a clear chestnut brown with tiny light tan head. Aroma is caramel, fruit and an odd spicy note that must be the cognac. Flavour is rather medicinal with caramel, fruit and a pronounced sourness. Lifeless body. Not my cup of tea.

Halleluja !
