Beardbeerman (341) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 28, 2014
UPDATED: JUL 23, 2015 341ml bottle served at 4 degrees in a flute glass: Pours a dark toned copper body bearing intense fiery highlights, topped by about half a finger of pale beige head. It shrinks to porous layer leaving awesome micro lacing. Its nose is enjoyable and gives roasted malts, sugar cane, banana and cantaloup. Youll also get a subtle citrus presence (orange) in the back. On the tongue, its best described as a toasted malt attack set on a floral hoppy fondation. It feels clean with a light effervescence and leave a subtle hoppy finish. This is yet another excellent product from Le Grimoire and a very aromatic red ale. It has a nice attack and impressive complexity you wont expect to find and is the perfect match to an old cheddar.
