(Rating #7450)

On tap at the brewery, in a Pils glass (it’s a sin): Dense cloudy orange/golden color with low activity. Weak white half a finger head, lasting around 2 minutes, with faint legs. Flavors of Brett and Belgian yeast, sweet grains, lemon, wheat, floral spices. Balanced sweetness and sharpness. Slick smooth medium body with crispy and prickly carbonation. Medium strength finish, lingering sharp grassy brett yeast with soft leafy hops. Not well balanced; the brett yeast is very dominant here without the subtleties and the zesty freshness of a Saison. While I enjoy that thick grassy feel, it lacks the proper malt layer of a Belgian Pale Ale. Although the taste is pretty good and quite flavorful for the ABV. Refreshing and boosting a solid body. Overall good quality craft, probably a little too bold, and could easily be tweaked to be very good.

A lightly hazed blonde ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice fruity malt with light bubblegum, light Brett, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light bubblegum, cilantro, light mineral notes, light Brett, very nice and smooth. On tap at pit caribou Montreal.

on tap at le projet, qc. hazy light golden pour, orange tint, with a small white cap offering some retention and lacing. leathery bretts, vanillin, soap and perfume, lightly astringent herbs, wheat, other pale spicy cereals, white pepper. moderate carbonation, light body - slighlty thin; drying floral-citrusy finish. thin and soapy medical bit still quenching with a load of bretts.
