COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Oily golden brew topped by a limited white head that wants to go away sooner than one would like. Aroma is somehow malty with a nice hops sting. Taste is maltier than your usual pale ale but it is all balanced out by a good and firm bitterness. A good beer that I wouldn’t mind having again,

Pours a huge thick frothy head and has a slightly cloudy coppery appearance. Aromas of floral and citrus hops and a bit of sweet malt aromas also. Nice floral type hops with much citrus notes. A bit of spices come through as well. Oranges are pretty obvious, with hints of caramel. More hoppy than usual a Pale. Faint carbonation. Mouthfeel has a creamy mouthcoating sensation and is a little bit sweet. Really great tasting beer, and easy to drink.

On tap : Clear amber color with low activity. Slightly foamy white 1 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with decent legs. Flavors of caramel, barley, faint gingerbread, sharp lemon, leafy and herbal spices. Balanced sweetness and sharpness. Creamy full body with thick prickly and crispy carbonation. Light to medium strength finish, nicely spiced and well intensified, lingering peppercorn and hoppy spices, and pleasant caramel. Very tasty and highly refreshing. Overall very good quality craft.

pours a golden orange with thin white head. strong floral aromas. maybe some mushrooms on the nose. medium mouthfeel with flavours of lemon and mild grapefruit. finish has a distinct bitterness, but still extremely approachable. a good example of the style.

Le Naufrageur loves boats on fire, it makes for a great label. Pours clear gold with a nice little head. Aroma is of honey, tropical hops, and cereal. Tastes of honey, pine, citrus, and grapefruit. Has a nice pine finish. Has a smooth light body with average carbonation. Has a nice hoppy taste and bitterness for being a french pale.

A beautiful clean gold with a crisp white head, this babe has notes of honey and cereal paired with floral and citrus hops wafting noseward. Right away I get big notes of honey that make a velvet transition into piney and citrusy bitterness. Hints of lemon and mild spiciness crop up. There is a nice bittersweet finish to this ol’ gal, dominated by lemon notes. The carbonation is mid-soft and the body is low-medium chewy. Quite an enjoyable treat!

500ml bottle. Pretty solid pale. Some hops without being IPA bitter. Balanced, smooth medium body, filtered gold colour. Very drinkable.
