In short: A fruity blond IPA with a spicy twist. Decent session beer.
How: Cask at brewpub.
The look: Mostly clear blond body topped by a little white head.
In long: Nose is tropical fruits with dank hops notes. Taste is soft bready pale malts, fresh white bread without crust, juicy tropical fruits, exotic fruits, some fun white-pepper spiciness. Soft bitterness with the spiciness coming back in the after-taste. I tried it on cask and the carbonation was rather low even by cask standards, body was rather lifeless. Far from an aromatic and bitterness bomb IPA, this was a very soft session beer. Quite acceptable. I had this beer sitting alone at the pub on a saturday after-noon, it’s always the same, whenever I’m bored and I have nothing to do nobody wants to hang out with me, but as soon as I’m busy then all of a sudden still nobody wants to hang out with me.

En cask à la brasserie: Les fruits comme la poire, lychee, kiwi dominent le profil, intéressant houblon...je viens justement d’en recevoir, ça augure bien.

On cask at Le Saint-Bock - Montreal, QC. Aroma is a unique pepper and tropcial fruit perfume. More floral, maybe, but definitely leaning in unique sandalwood and musk type of perfumed quality. I’ll assume from the Wakatu hops. The flavors get punchy and fruity, heading into pear, lychee, and almond land. This is good. I think the aromas and flavors are fresh and lively. The base malt suffers a little, but the hop work is fine.

Smells fruity and a little hoppy. Has decent lacing but pale lager colour. Low-carbonation - had this on cask. Has almost a hibiscus flower aroma. Slightly bitter. Feels very fresh on your mouth after you exhale. Almost like a breath after mouthwash, but in a good way. On tap at Saint Bock.
