Bouteille 500ml. Couleur cuivrée trouble, mousse beige laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme de cannelle, girofle, muscade. Goût de cannelle, muscade, malt grillé, sucré, légère amertume. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen-dense.

Bottle shared. Fairly unoriginal name to start with. Mild gingerbread with noptes of vanilla and cinnamon, bit of caramel, fairly light for the abv, peppery finish. Average brew in a tough category, a bit on the spicy side.

On tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy copper pour, tiny white head. Huge spice aroma, loads of cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamon, and cloves. This is a spice bomb. Nothing else going on really, not my bag. But a spice bomb fan would love it!

Bottle: Poured a murky dark amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of strong notes of spices including cinnamon and cloves with light pumpkin. Taste is also dominated by strong notes of cinnamon and cloves with some light pumpkin notes. Body is quiet full with medium carbonation. Enjoyable but maybe tad too strong on the spices.

500 ml bottle, turned out to be a big gusher. Pours a veiled golden-amber with a resilient white head. Aroma is spices and pumpkin. Flavor is pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, pepper, some roastiness. Finish is spicy and pumpkin. Lingering brown sugarish flavor. Medium to full body, average to strong carbonation.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml bottle. hazy brown and pumpkin color, very nice head and quite apealing. smell pumpkin sugars and belgian yeast. smells like a pumpkin pie and gingerbread. taste is belgian yeast followed by that pumpkin sugar. quite simple but yet very complex. the alcohol taste is almost absent in this one. Almost feels like a christmas beer, very charming. I underestimated that one. I love being wrong with my low expectations. have it a try with pie or any rich desert, it’s pretty intense! cheers

Bouteille 500 ml. 7.8%.
