Pours a huge foamy head but goes away pretty quickly, not much left afterwards. Has a hazy golden appearance. Has citrus hop and wheaty aromas mainly. Also some notes of yeast and grainy malts. Flavours of citrus and floral hops abound. Has a tarty, slightly sweet lime finish. Medium bodied. Drying and tingling sensation. Pretty good, smooth, nice and light. Made for patio weather consumption.

Beim Canada- Day im Muted Horn getestet. Leicht trübes Goldgelb im Glas. Sehr mild aber gut ausgewogen.

Visual: (Their own bottle for their brewery, raised lettering and devil on the bottom, odd size 600ml). Pours cloudy light unfiltered apple juice yellow with a smallish dissipating head, thin ringed retention, a mix of fast large CO2 sporadic streams as well as micro steady clusters. Large bubbles clinging to the side of the glass.

Nose: 70/30-banana/pineapple wheat malt, very slight pukey, a bit of peach. (lvl-5)-pungency

Attack: crisp, banana wheat malt rough palate impression

Mid-palate: (lvl-3-sweetness), mild sour lemony funk, banana wheat malt

Finish: residual tart fruity wheat malt

Summary: Pretty standard, none of the flavours nor textures really grabbed my attention. Just average, and a bit disappointing coming from Le Trou.

Citrus, spices, cloudy yellow with a good white head, light body, law carbonation, citrus...a good wit.

Veiled straw color with a low amount of activity. Slightly foamy white 2 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with weak legs. Flavors of fresh lemon, coriander, flowery spices, sweet grains, wheat, faint herbal spices. Oily medium body with perfect zesty carbonation. Medium strength finish with a faint lingering sweet wheathy and corny feel, a little yeasty, and a nice lemony feel. The freshness is disappointing, from a slightly too thick and oily body. Overall this is an okay craft. The flavors are alright, nothing special, the smell is very pleasant, but it lacks a lot of freshness, while the intensity is nice. I think its a miss from Trou du Diable.
