Bottle from Abbaye des Saveurs, Lille - FR - Color: dark caramel blond beer with no carbonation and small white foam. Smell: grassy and resin hops domination, no fruity, caramel. Taste: medium body with strong caramel hops, resin and pine. No fruity taste. Resin exposition. Quiet drinkable. Aftertaste: resin and pine, with alcohol. OK.

Amère et épaisse en bouche, très fruitée et agréable sur la longueur, l'alcool est présent mais as dérangeant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled (backlog). Orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some floral and fruity notes. Flavour is alcohol, some floral, fruity and nectary notes with some mild bready notes.

Hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation.Light malts, dry and mildly sweet, touches of caramel and cream. Spicy orange and a little floral bitterness that has a perfumey edge. Pithy bitterish finish. Odd but not unpleasant.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2017 This DIPA, with relatively high ABV, smells and tastes like a weak dry-hop. The alcohol is unfortunately very present in mouth. It gets slightly more interesting as it warms down since its fruity malts reveal themselves. Dubaï Pillée nonetheless still lacks more complex and enjoyable hops aromas.

Gerbeer (3856) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 2, 2016
600 ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber with full head. Aromas of dough, light citrus and light pine. Flavors of bitter lemon, dry toasted malts, alcohol, and acrid dried fruit. Stale.

Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 18, 2016
Murky amber pour. Resin and hoppy pine cones with a bit of a malty base. Has a bit of ketchup chips or tortilla chips from the alcohol as well. Boozy beer that masks the other flavours. Hoppy and a bit of resin stickiness as well. Big beer that is boozy and sticky.

Arcanor (421) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 7, 2016
600ml bottled on 2016-03-01. Pour orange and clear with a small disappearing white head. Malt and a shy hoppiness nose. Full body, medium carbonation and long alcool finish. If hops was used in to this, well it’s gone. It’s now only malt and alcool. not very trilling...
