[email protected] Hazy golden colour, not all too much head. Aroma is sour wood, some mild berries, and mild brett as well. Flavour is very similar, but quite much lacks a dryness to support the sourness of it. Balanced, but leaves a bit strange.

Bottled at SBWF. Hazy golden, coarse head. Oaky, fruity nose with vanilla and cobwebs. Mid dry with medium body and dense, well rounded mouthfeel. Oaky white wine, funk and hay. Mid bitter finish. Conentrated, complex and unusual flavours, great balance.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell during Pauls Birthday Celebration - London. Thanks to Bruce for this one. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a light, creamy white head. Good funky nose, lots of poo, manure, light yeast notes. Light to medium sweet flavor with good funk, further poo character, light lemon, some dry dough. Light to medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Clean and dry to finish with manure, brett, hay, pale malts, faint grassy bitterness. Lovely. One of the beers of the day.

Hazy blond color, no head. Some aroma of Brett, some mauve, lightly fruity. Lean mouthfeel, quite dry; the Brett is evident, but is also has a nice touch of citrus peel, and bittering cedar in the final.
I was more impressed by the elegance of this beer when I had it from bottle.

2014-04-14, bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver, 9-5-8-4-18=44
Beautiful golden color, slightly hazy with creamy and persistent head, very fine perlage. Harmonious aroma, lightly fruity, with some Brett, cellar smell, wet hay, Alpine toma cheese, a hint of bread. The mouthfeel is very smooth, and not too dry; gentle malt flavor, with well defined Brett presence leading to a mildly astringent final; pleasant lingering fruitiness, white grapes; correctly the bitterness is not very high, leaving more room to the mild acidity and astringency.
Extremely well crafted beer, harmonious and intriguing. Its a pity that Le Trou Du Diable beers are expensive beyond reason.

Nettes sffiges Saures. 10/11/12/12/12/12
