On tap at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. An unclear, dark orangey brown colored beer with a small, beige head. The aroma has dried fruits and hints of caramel, with banana notes chiming in. Sort of dunkelweizen-ish, both in aroma and flavor. Some bitterness in the flavor, but it’s mostly on the sweet side. Full body and a soft carbonation, with some warming alcohol. Lasting finish with dried fruits and caramel. Sure a decent one, but rather ordinary. 150611 Meilby (11495) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 12, 2015

Tap at Paradiso Dupont. Pours a full haze orange. Weak head. Nose is estery, yellow fruity, golden raisin, rum cake. Taste is denser banana, sugar, mild bitterness, minty. Palate is dryer, soapy. As it warms, the taste foes quite mealy apple with sticky candies.
