(Rating #3246)

Cloudy, orangey-amber. Spicy-earthy-weedy aroma. Floral Belgian yeast character with spicy, dry, continental hops.

Drank on tap (20 oz) at Le Saint-Graal (Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec) on January 12, 2013. Beige hazy, medium head. Spice aroma very fragrant, dry pale malt note. Pale malt taste very dry, savory herbs, aftertaste of bitter herbs. This is very good, it’s almost a saison!

Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 1, 2012
Draft at brewpub. Hazy orange. Ripe oranges and papaya in the fruity aroma. Light, fruity, and juicy. The house yeast character is so much fun! Firm dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Festibière de Québec. Opaque whitish with short-lasting white head. Smells like yeast. Tastes like bread and fruits. Dry bread taste in the finish. Medium to strong bodied. Rich texture, smooth mouthfeel. Good belgian-style.

JulienHuxley (5949) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 18, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Aha! Finally a chance to rate this one. Slightly hazy light gold pour with a lot of frothy white foam, some lacing. Aroma is citrusy, lots of belgian yeast as well. Reminds me somewhat of highly hopped american saisons. Taste is a bit fruitier, sweet grain and spicy yeast flavors dominate throughout this heavily carbonated beer. Alcohol is not at all apparent and this makes for an easily drinkable belgian ale.
