Keg. Molasses aroma. Lighter body than I was expecting. Dark roasty malt flavours along with something medicine-like. Quite drinkable. Higher alcohol hidden well.

Sample at Kraftstore Katowice panel. Jet black with big but not stable beige head. Very strong aromas of bourbon, with bourbon notes and on bourbon background... there is nothing except bourbon in the aroma... maybe light vanilla notes. Similar in taste, but with some sour notes. Interesting and pretending to be a bourbon.

mgajdaczewa (2148) - Katowice, POLAND - APR 10, 2017

Tap; pours black with a beige head; aroma chocolate, licorice, roasted malts, dark fruits, vanilla and coffee; taste is bittersweet with roasted malts, chocolate, licorice, vanilla, coffee and hints of dark fruits; roasty finish is dry and slightly bitter

cask. Dark black pour. Boozy and sweet, with bourbon on top of coffee and chocolate. Was a little flat, maybe just this particular cask? Otherwise good.

Martinus (4601) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - OCT 11, 2016
Pitch black colour, beige head. Aroma of cacao, roasted malts, caramel, brown sugar. Sweet flavour, bitter notes, coffee, chocolate, cacao. Sweet finish, cacao, bitter caramel, brown sugar.

Dark brown/black. The nose is really loaded with ripe dark fruit, cooked plums and rum/brandy back notes. Rich and fruity with some dark malt and a lot of plum and rich cocoa. Has an almost Belgian malt note - touches of vineous yeast and a hint of booziness. Damn tasty beer.

mike_77 (6673) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - OCT 4, 2016
Black with thin white head. Aroma has some coconut and slightly medicinal alcohol. Smooth texture. A bit warming and boozy.

Bonne bière foncée, mais sans plus. Je n’ai rien trouvé d’extraordinaire. Ni bonne ni mauvaise...
