THIS PAGE IS FOR THE BOTTLED VERSION (aged in Syrah barrels).

Hazy copper pour with white head and great lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, brettanomyces, tart grapes. Flavour has a great mix of all elements of the nose with a funky, dry, bitter finish. Tasty.

26/IV/14 - 75cl bottle @ ZBF 2014 (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2014-421) Thanks to tom10101 (I think? Things got a bit hazy towards the end) for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy reddish orange beer, creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: artificial brett aroma, pleasant sourness, fruity, tangerines. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: artificial brett, bit sour, pretty bitter and dry. Aftertaste: bitter, grapefruit, bit of artifical brett yeast, some lemon rind. Why always using that same brett yeast package people? You want wild yeast? Go collect it outdoors.

75cl bottle [email protected] 2014-ZA, courtesy of, apparently, tom10101 (in absentia). "Bière sauvage/bière forte". Pours a murky orange with vestigal foam at edges. Apple & orange blossom, floral aroma merges into a tart and dry tripel/saison with prepared citrus rind as its core ester reference; some bready yeast characteristics. Very nice stuff and much more natural drinking than many a US saison.

Orange color with a persistent medium foam collar. Aromas of spices, aromatic hops, wood, fruits and bretts. Flavors of bretts, leather, spices, hops, wood and grapes. Aftertaste of hops bitterness. Couleur orange avec un persistant col de mousse moyen. Arômes d’épices, houblons aromatiques, bois, fruits et bretts. Saveurs de bretts, cuir, épices, bois, raisins. Fin de bouche: légère amertume de houblon.

Thanks to tom10101! Hazy orange, solid white head. Slight tart and funky nose, thick white dough yeast, touch acidity, brett and berries funk. Mildly tart and lemon acidic taste, berries, bread, touch fruity, wood, light funky wine, soft half-dried oranges, faint toffee. Good carbonation, rich white bread body that is still very easy to drink due to the brett. Very nice, expected a bit more of a pop but still very solid to say the least.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours hazy and amber with a mid-sized, white head. Excellent retention. The nose furnishes boatloads of funk, lemonwood and citrus fruit. Full-bodied with lively carbonation. Moderately bitter with modest acidity, accompanied by tons of fruity-tart flavor. Finishes crisp and mildly tart with a slight note of tannic and bread-crust bitterness. Many thanks to Marheb for shipping this bottle of world class brew across the border from Quebec!

CapFlu (5132) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 22, 2014
Lasting thin, creamy whitehead with a clouded, sediment-filled orange body. Nose is wonderfully tart and yeasty. Cherry pit aroma, sour berry seed. This is very engaging - solid carbonation, quick resinous black cherry and lasting wine barrel finish. This is very good. Purchased at Metro Liquors University Heights.

Couleur orangés. Nez sure de cuivre. En bouche cuir, fruits sures, bonne acidité. Une bonne bière sure, une des meilleures de trou diable!
