COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
THIS PAGE IS FOR THE BOTTLED VERSION (aged in Syrah barrels).

UPDATED: APR 10, 2013 Bottle courtesy of Martin at RBJG, thanks! Cloudy golden amber color, fluffy white head. Aroma of sour vanilla, lemon, grapefruit. Taste is smooth and softly sour peach, apricot vanilla. Very tasty.

750mL bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours a cloudy vibrant orange wit a huge white foamy head that lasts. Nose is full of brett funk, followed by wine barrels, some light fruitiness, more brett, and oak. Flavour is a brett bomb, with loads of funk, followed by more subdued red wine notes, some fuzzy citrus fruits, and some light hops. Very funky, lightly vinous and somewhat hoppy. Extremely well-constructed, with a suitable carbonation that brings out the complexities really well. Amazingly drinkable. Wonderful, elegant beer.

Bottle - Funky tartness and some weird yeasty notes. Cloudy gold with a decent head. Funky tartness and lots off yeasty brett goodness.

(750ml bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of earth, horseblanket, pepper, and lemon. Flavor of lemon, brett, earthiness, florals, and subtle vanilla with a dry finish.

Thanks to tom10101! Hazy orange, solid white head. Slight tart and funky nose, thick white dough yeast, touch acidity, brett and berries funk. Mildly tart and lemon acidic taste, berries, bread, touch fruity, wood, light funky wine, soft half-dried oranges, faint toffee. Good carbonation, rich white bread body that is still very easy to drink due to the brett. Very nice, expected a bit more of a pop but still very solid to say the least.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Pours hazy and amber with a mid-sized, white head. Excellent retention. The nose furnishes boatloads of funk, lemonwood and citrus fruit. Full-bodied with lively carbonation. Moderately bitter with modest acidity, accompanied by tons of fruity-tart flavor. Finishes crisp and mildly tart with a slight note of tannic and bread-crust bitterness. Many thanks to Marheb for shipping this bottle of world class brew across the border from Quebec!

2013-05-25. Lightly hazy bright orange body modest foamy off white head. 3+ Aroma is lightly musty, almost a tart apple juice like quality. Whispers of hay and barnyard. 7+ Flavour is pleasantly funky up front, dryish, pale malt and a woody character? Sort of sour fruity character, almost apple like but not really. Muted barnyard undertones. Average plus bodied palate, relatively effervescent carbonation. 3++ Enjoyable, I like the interplay between the fruity undertones and the funkier aspects. Bottle at Volo, Toronto

26/IV/14 - 75cl bottle @ ZBF 2014 (Leuven) - BB: n/a (2014-421) Thanks to tom10101 (I think? Things got a bit hazy towards the end) for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy reddish orange beer, creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: artificial brett aroma, pleasant sourness, fruity, tangerines. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: artificial brett, bit sour, pretty bitter and dry. Aftertaste: bitter, grapefruit, bit of artifical brett yeast, some lemon rind. Why always using that same brett yeast package people? You want wild yeast? Go collect it outdoors.
