On tap @ What's Brewing 17. Pours hazy yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is hoppy notes of orange peel and apricots. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is fruity hoppy notes of orange peel, as well as zesty apricots.

Visual: (Cellared for 2 years). Pours cloudy bright yellow-orange with a 1cm head, a thin layer of micro retention, a few microbubbles here and there.

Nose: musky apricot-pineapple malt, honey. (lvl-5)-pungency

Attack: crisp, smooth almost creamy CO2

Mid-palate: bright, light tangy, very grainy barley malt malt, dry (lvl-1-sweetness), hint lemon

Finish: apricot, subtle hop dry bitter, residual grainy

Summary: A fine balance of bright barley grain accented by slight citrus and subtle hops. This goes well with any meal. A fine lager, which I don't particularly lean toward in preference.

Looks lika a pils, taste like a pils, must be a pils. Ok beer, but hard to be distinctive in this category.

A cloudy gold with a foamy head. This pils has a soft fruit and crackery malt aroma. A crisp light body, dry finish and a wheaty spice, herbacious hops and clean taste. As the label says a reckless beer. Turns out my great grandfather was a draveur de pitoune (logs on rivers) so that’s pretty cool.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color. Wheaty and crackery malts aroma; some hay flavor; strong bitterness, a bit grassy, but also traces of vegetables. A bit mellow for a Pilsner.
Decent one.

Light yellow hay straw color with great lacing. Very slick and medium carbonation. Smooth and light with subtle grassy notes.

Arcanor (422) - Quebec, CANADA - MAY 6, 2016
600ml bottle. Pour yellow hay and foggy. Pure pils aroma, medium body and lively. Long finish. Not a fan of Pils, but it’s definitively well done.

3.5
Matwill (101) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 6, 2016
