[Draught at Volo] Pours a hazy pale yellow with an average size semi-lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma of light funk, some fruit, light spices, yeast and bready malt. Flavour is yeasty and lightly funky along with spices, citrus and bready malt. Dry finish. Average to medium bodied. A solid Belgian Ale. plaugher (485) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - DEC 9, 2013
5oz draft into a wee snifter on tap at Stillwell. Pours a hazy golden colour with a light fluffy head. Wheaty and grassy nose with a light hoppiness and a hint of citrus. Rather mild and homey, with a bit of sweetness and a light bitter finish. Medium bodied, light carbonation. Pleasant. Travlr (25544) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 12, 2013
Draft. Hazy golden yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of raw white bread dough. Taste is light citrus. pushkinwow (2851) - Ottawa, CANADA - AUG 18, 2013
On tap at National Capital Beer Festival. Slightly hazy pale yellow with a generous off white head. Light citrus, bit of wheat, some yeast with a very slight funkiness. Easy to drink, moderate+ carbonation, mild body, light bitterness that is refreshing with a somewhat dry yet chewy finish. auerbrau (3203) - Ithaca, New York, USA - JUL 30, 2013
On tap at The Farmhouse Tap - Burlington, VT. I haven’t had the regular Buteuse, so I can’t compared to full strength, but as a lighter version of a Belgian Ale, I found this watery and rubbery. The emergent yeast and spice character was a bit soapy and too phenolic for my tastes.

Tap at Beachwood Seal Beach. Clear golden pour, medium white head. Nose is doggy, ripe, animal. Funky lemon verbena and chemical. Taste is spritzy, lemon verbena, sugar, odd starchy stickiness. Not so great. Disappointing. brokensail (16609) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Hazy golden orange pour with a white head. Pale malt aroma, yeast, white pepper, and some spicy hops and phenols. Apple and pear esters, too. The flavor has a dry malt profile to it. Cracker, some bread, and white pepper. Notes of yeast and apple, some grainy pear sweetness. Nice spicy and floral hop notes. Aroma: wheat, aromatic character , farm , citrus . Light leafy walls. Fairly dry. Nice.7+
Appearance: slight haze on amber with medium white top. Some lace noted. 4-
Palate / Taste: Medium bodied. Dry with medium plus carbonation. Soft chewy wheat hints behind. Hint of salt. Refreshing ale. Nice choice for hot days.
Pale golden pour with a thick white head and a bit of light haze. The aroma is lovely. Light honey and a bit of clean spiciness. A fresh bread/crackery malt component and some really peppery spiciness. Lean malt base and some nice crisp spice. A bit of pear ester and a touch of apple as well. Very lean and dry with a nice minerally bitterness. Dry and lovely. Sammy (12484) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 5, 2013
On tap at Bar Volo. Cloudy deep yellow, lacey. A tad funky aroma. A dirty blonde. Carbonation is set on high side, still very drinkable blonde somewhat table Belgian ale. A pleasure on a spring day.
