COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Translation: Saison du Tongka is a yellow-copper colored beer that is dry and refreshing. It has a spicy, candy-like aroma with a light phenolic touch typical of saison yeast. Taste is bold and generous, with a sharp acidity that leads to instantaneous thirst quenching.

November 27,. 2013 - at Bar Hop; on draught. Refractive and slightly oily-looking light gold with a small white head. Simple aroma - fruity and floral, somewhat dry, no alcohol. Taste is like a slightly watery standard spicy saison with extra fruit and plenty of dry floral bitterness; some apple (7-). Light body, astringency and carbonation - quick finish with some emerging gluteny stickiness in the longish but low-level bitter finish; simple, good starter beer.

On tap at Pub BreWskey. Hazy blonde with a frothy white head. Flavors are cereals, dough, pear, wheat and lemon with herbal and spicy notes. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, slick texture.

biirusaikou (2705) - - JAN 18, 2016
Draught at BarVolo. Candy, mikan, apple bit of spice, pretty light body, soft mouthfeel, short earthy finish with a floral edge. Decent brew but a bit mild and simple maybe.

On tap at Le Saint Bock. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a thick white head. Delicate musk, soft wheat on the nose, yeast. Medium bodied, musky and full of wheat. Musk, soft wheat. Light musk into the finish, slow earthy bitterness.

Kauge (1949) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - OCT 26, 2015
Tap at Bar Volo. Pale, hazy yellow (not the most pale though), with a white head and a lot of bubbles. Sour, wheaty, fermented apples. Fruitiness. Pleasant spiciness. The flavour’s extremely bitter, like very-very unripe apples. The spiciness continues. Crisp, well carbonated, medium lightish body. Dryish palate. Very nice.

Straw and light florals. Pours golden. Light crisp finish. Light crisp finish. Not a lot going on. Tap at barhop.

Fat @ BarVolo, Toronto.
