In a bottle at Thristy & Miserable. A lovely saison that drinks lighter than its stated abv. Very refreshing and quaffable, which makes that abv all the more deadly. Very similar in aroma and flavour to a traditional Belgian saison, with perhaps a bit more grass in the nose and more citrus in the taste.

Bottle recently picked up, sweet cap, pours a medium gold color with a massive head, nose is got some of the citrus listed on bottle, oranges, not getting passion fruit but I havent had passion fruit in quite some time, light bodied yet full of flavor, getting the citrus on initial mouthfeel chased down with some spicy lemony character and a backbone of that earthy, musty saison yeast, finishes dry, this is a great offering for the style and adequately combines the as listed old continent meets new continent take on the style, cant see how a fan of saisons wouldnt enjoy this, worth the price of the bottle..

Bottle. Cloudy golden pour with a white head. Aroma is mandarin orange, some spiciness, candy lemon. Taste is sweet citrus and spicy rye, medium body with a slightly dry finish, lingers nicely balanced. Fairly plain but really solid and tasty saison.

Clear golden with a large bubbly white head. Dusty grainy and gay filled nose. The body is crisp and quite bubbly and carbonated with a Belgian pale malty tone with bright peppery esters and a bome dry light finish.

600mL bottle: Pours slightly hazy gold with a bubbly white head that quickly calms. Aroma of grass, yeast, lemon, funk, spice/herbal notes of coriander & pepper and a bit of banana. I dont really get the passion fruit from the description. Slight sweetness, light-medium body, moderate+ lively carbonation, and nice flavourful spicy dry finish. Overall: solid crisp and clean balanced saison, leans more classic > new world despite the description though.

7/II/17 - 75cl bottle from a trade @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: 12/X/16 (2017-164) Thanks to Robert S. for the trade and to Erwin for facilitating.

Pretty cloudy blond beer, creamy irregular white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: marijuana upon opening the bottle, bit sourish in the glass, grassy, bit yeasty, sweet touchy, some spices, coriander, some grapefruit. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sourish start, lemony, bit grassy, nice bitterness, fruity, grapefruit, bit acidic, funky even. Aftertaste: fruity, blueberries, bit sourish, funky; nice bitterness, grapefruit, pretty zesty, yeast, lemon juice. Impressive how complex this one is!

Tap at The Jeffrey for lunch during snow day. Fine hazy dark gold pour. Nose is tropical fruits and spice. Tastes of passion fruit, pepper, coriander, lemongrass, and gummy bears. Decent medium body seminsweet finish.
